Try new things! Try new things! Try new things!!!! JUST TRY!!!!!

If you hate it...you can spit it out... its ok.

You know, I have to say that it disappoints me when people judge something before even trying it. I mean how do you know that you don't like it? How do you know it is not your next favorite thing? How do you know that it isn't something that might change your life forever?!? How do you know unless you try?

It is sad to me when I see others let their ignorance stop them from experiencing the world around them. We all have ignorance - it is just a part of nature. But, if we can work on consciously being more open minded to the world and what is in front of us we may just get a totally different perspective.

I used to judge odd, different, and new things all the time. I would wonder what they were really all about or why they were not more popular if they were indeed so great. Then time after time I would find that it wasn't the "thing" that was so bad, or odd, or weird. It was my mindset. I have learned to keep an open mind. To really look at both sides of something and think.... just because I have never tried this doesn't mean it is not cool, yummy, or fun. Just because I am not used to this, doesn't mean that I won't like it. It is just different.

I have learned it takes strength to be different, try different, be ok with different.

Now there is no stopping me and what the world holds.

So the next time you pass that thing, hear of something new or unusual, or someone offers you a new adventure; take a moment to think about this article and reflect within yourself. Ask yourself, what is the worst thing that could happen if I tried this or looked into this? Once you realize it isn't all that bad and that you control the outcome I promise that your world will open its doors to things you never imagined.
